We gather to care for wellbeing,
our own and that of others,
in body, in mind, in our relationships, and in our lives.
We honor the sovereignty of every person,
their right to choose their own path,
as long as they do not harm the freedom of others.
We hold our beliefs with humility.
Our understanding is always open
to free inquiry, to experience, and to reason.
We influence only by example and by kind words,
never by force.
We stand firmly against cruelty and bigotry,
and we protect the innocent from harm.
We seek meaning, and each of us is free to find our own.
Today we come together
to learn, to grow, to support one another,
and to create something good, together.
May each of us bring our best,
and leave a little more whole than we came.
